I'm a Professional Vocalist/Songwriter/ Entertainer and Teacher. As well as being the lead singer of a 7 piece swing/jazz jump n jive band, I'm a versatile vocalist singing in styles ranging from pop to reggae. Here is a quote from an Agents' write up: "For quite some time Angie A has been performing her show also, a self-contained tribute to the great soul, jazz, swing, RnB and reggae artist of the past and present. Her personality and wonderfully expressive voice have enabled her to capture the magic and sentiment of such artists like Nina Simone, Dina Washington, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald and many more. However, for the more discerning listener, Angie has developed an even more sophisticated show, one which also satisfies her passion for singing the light jazz and swing classics of the 20's,30's,40's and 50's and which greatly suits her melodic distinctive voice. A joy to behold", I toured with Olive, who got to number 1 in the national charts with the song You're Not Alone- doing backing vocals [ see youtube of Top Of The Pops appearance ].
I'm also a past Britains' Got Talent contestant [ Diversitys year ]

Angie As current release is a Single called Essex Girl [Professional ] and it includes bonus track Free [She Wanna Be Free ]. Essex Girl [Professional ] is a 12 bar blues song and is humorous take of Angies' observations of her guilty pleasure TOWIE. It's an uplifting song about 'doing your thing' without letting any obstacles get in the way. The music video gives a nod to the Dagenham Girls and incorporates jump jive dancers.
