Bio

Alex Lanyon is a singer-songwriter currently based in Oxford having graduated from Oxford Brookes University. Growing up in Birmingham, he developed his transatlantic, pop rock writing style and gained experience recording and playing his guitar and piano driven songs solo, and with a band.

Influenced by the likes of Counting Crows, Fleetwood Mac and Jimmy Eat World, his storytelling songs appeal to a wide audience. He has put this into practice by landing support slots with Lewis Watson, Ben Montague and Dick Valentine of Electric Six - each gig allowing him to expand his fan base.

His current EP can be found on iTunes and Spotify, he is ambitious, hardworking and always looking to take the next step in his career.
