Jack Broadbent is a freelance musician working and living in London. Always looking to work creatively and professionally with other artists and to push forwards into the music industry, Jack has been playing and performing music since the age of 11 and been gigging extensively throughout London and Belgium.
Comfortable in any style, Jack is happy to throw creative ideas onto into any style and work hard to play what the song needs!
Currently studying at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in the heart of London, on an intense BMus Degree course, Jack has been tutored by some of the best players in the industry including Chris Newland, Hugh Burns, Dario Cortese, Phill Mann, Gareth Smith, Dave Holmes, Jay Stapely and Mike Sturgis, who have all helped to shape Jack's own sound and focus his skills and passion.
Jack currently plays in several bands and jobs - a tutor and resident guitarist at Soundbox Studios, guitarist and musical director for Grace Roberts (original artist), OutBeat Function Band and Ewell Church United Life. Jack also plays in Musicalals, having just completed a run of We Will Rock You, Annie and starting The Wiz in January.
Jack also works as a Mobile DJ, a recording engineer and producer and composing for film.
Jack previously secured work experience at Abbey Road Studios where he assisted in the recording of the Harry Potter film soundtrack. Jack shadowed the role of the Score Editor and Printer who made changes to the score and printed them out for the musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra.
Jack also teaches guitar to several students and has done some teacher assistance in music lessons around local schools.
